Who is eligible for
Solar ATAP?
  • Existing TNB consumers
  • Domestic and non-domestic premises

What are the capacity limits?
Domestic
  • Single phase: up to 5 kWac (CCC required if exceeding limits)
  • Three phase: up to 15 kWac (CCC required if exceeding limits)
  • Proper surge protection to prevent short circuits.
Non-domestic
  • Up to 100% of Maximum Demand
  • Maximum cap : 1 MWac

How are export
credits calculated?
  • Domestic : credited atEnergy Charge (RM0.2703/kWh or RM0.3703/kWh)
  • Non-domestic : credited at Average SMP

Export credits can offset Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are allowed but optional.

What technical requirements apply?
  • Behind-the-meter connection
  • PV export meter installed by applicant
  • CCC / CAS / PSS approvals depending on size and voltage
  • Applicant bears any grid upgrade costs
